Ken Janzen



Ken has been a longstanding supporter and volunteer of Niagara Children’s Centre.  He was elected as the Chair of the Board of Directors in 2017.

Ken is an accomplished leader and possesses a great mix of inspiration, operational experience and a strong relationship building passion.  With over 30 years of experience within the credit union system, Ken is the current Chief Executive Officer of PenFinancial Credit Union.

Ken’s philanthropic efforts within the Niagara Region and beyond have played an important role in the well-being and sustainability of not for profit and community organizations. A past Rotarian, Ken is also a member of the board of directors for Red Roof Retreat in Niagara-on-the-Lake. Ken’s cooperative and humanitarian efforts also extend nationally as a member of the board of directors for the Foundation for International Development Assistance, a Canadian Charitable organization that provides resources to rural communities in Haiti who are motivated to advance themselves economically by forming a productive agricultural co-operative.

Ken is a life-long resident of the Niagara Region and is a proud Business and Economics graduate of Brock University.  Along with his wife Donna, they have raised three children. Ken enjoys his hobbies of running and golf.
