Mathew Siscoe

Director

Mathew Siscoe joined the Niagara Children Centre's Board of Directors in 2015. He lives in St. Catharines with his wife, Chrissy, three boys: Xavier, Canaan and Darius; and daughter Sophia.

Mat has been a Physics teacher with the Niagara Catholic District School Board since 2007, during which time he has taught at Saint Paul Catholic High School in Niagara Falls. He was elected to St. Catharines City Council in 2010, and represents St. Patrick's Ward.

He has volunteered for a number of organizations in the city and region, including the Out of the Cold program and Community C, but feels a special connection to the Centre.

''My two youngest boys have both received services from the Children's Centre over the last several years, for speech and language therapy as well as a number of therapies related to my youngest son's autism. If there is one organization I feel a need to give back to, it is Niagara Children's Centre. They've done more for my family than I could ever hope for.''
