    Niagara Children's Centre Foster Festival Drama Club sponsored by Meridian, Ontario’s largest credit union, held their final performance of ‘Class Two Goes to the Zoo’ on Wednesday, June 7th, 2017. The performance marked the completion of the Drama Club’s six-week program.  The Foster Festival Drama Club was established at Niagara Children’s Centre in 2016 and was specifically adapted for children with special needs making it the first of its kind in Niagara.     Help Kids Shine Campaign Raises Record-Breaking $135,974 for Niagara Children’s Centre!

    Thanks to your support, Help Kids Shine raised an incredible $135,974 for children right here in Niagara! This month-long awareness and fundraising campaign is run in  conjunction with Presenting Sponsor, Bell Media.  Bell Media dedicated the entire month of May to promoting the Centre on 610 CKTB, 97.7 HTZ-FM and 105.7 EZ Rock.  The Help Kids Shine Campaign featured 12 families from the Centre who chose to share their personal stories to help raise awareness and funds for the Centre.  Each of their stories is unique and are examples of the 3,300 children and families that are helped each year. …

    The third annual Sir Winston Churchill (SWC) took place on April 26, 2017. Sir Winston Churchill’s “We’re walking so others can too!” fundraiser is a student-led event developed to raise funds in support of the Niagara Children’s Centre.     Rotary Club of Welland donates a mechanical lift system to Niagara Children’s Centre

    Niagara Children’s Centre is proud to announce the installation of a new mechanical lift system for their Complex Needs and Physical Medicine clinic room. The total investment totalling over $5,100 came as a donation from the Rotary Club of Welland, who have been supporters of the Centre for over 50 years. With the recent expansion of Niagara Children’s Centre’s medical clinics, the Centre is seeing more clients who require a mechanical lift to transfer them from their wheelchair to an examining table.
