Minister of Children and Youth Services Visits Centre & Families
Dec. 08, 2017
Minister of Children and Youth Services, Hon. Michael Coteau took a tour of Niagara Children’s Centre and spoke with Centre families. St. Catharines MPP Jim Bradley, who has been a longtime supporter of the Centre, joined his colleague on a tour of the facilities led by Centre CEO, Oksana Fisher.
The diverse range of services offered at the Centre was showcased throughout the tour as the group stopped to speak with clients and their families who were receiving services. Some of the highlighted treatments included clients working on communication development as well as a Gait Lab assessment. The group ended their tour by visiting Centre clients’ favourite space, the therapeutic pool. Afterward, the Minister had the opportunity to sit down with families of the Centre.
Niagara Children’s Centre is honoured to be able to show Minister Coteau our commitment to providing rehabilitation and support services to children and youth with physical, developmental and communicative delays and disabilities across Niagara.
