    Henderson’s Pharmacy Made the Holidays Brighter with Matching Gift to Niagara Children’s Centre

      Niagara Children’s Centre is pleased to share that thanks to the generous support of Henderson’s Pharmacy, all gifts made to the Holiday Giving Campaign for 2016 were matched, up to $10,000! “I have seen firsthand the impact that Niagara Children’s Centre has on so many children and families in Niagara.     Cotton Construction Golf Tournament Proceeds Benefits Centre

      We are continually thankful to Cotton Construction who generously have chosen to support the good work taking place at Niagara Children’s Centre since 2004!  The proceeds of their annual golf tournament raised an incredible $20,000 and were used to support the 3,200 children and families who access the Centre on a yearly basis.     Algoma-Rotary Golf Tournament Continues Support of Niagara Children's Centre

      Thank you to the Rotary Club of St. Catharines and Algoma Central Corporation for their continued support of the Centre through the Algoma-Rotary Golf Tournament. This year we were pleased to receive a donation of $25,000 from the tournament proceeds of 2016. Niagara Children’s Centre has received support from the Algoma-Rotary Golf Tournament since 2004!  In fact, Niagara Children’s Centre has received an incredible cumulative total of $392,000 from the tournament proceeds over the years.     Niagara Children’s Centre Receives Exceptional Accreditation Results

      Niagara Children’s Centre has been recognized for excellence, in receiving a three-year accreditation award- the highest award possible.  The accreditation survey was conducted by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) International in December and the award is the second three-year award for the Centre, building on the previous one completed in January 2014.   This accreditation is official recognition that the Centre is practicing according to internationally recognized service standards and best practices.  Accreditation from CARF International demonstrates the Centre’s commitment to family centred care and providing the best possible service and outcomes to our clients.  In…

    Niagara Children's Centre Launches 2017-2021 Strategic Plan

      Over the course of 2016, Niagara Children’s Centre undertook a strategic planning process to update the Mission, Vision, Values and Strategic Priorities of our organization. We received feedback from the people who know the Centre best, analyzed our complex external and internal environments and built a framework to lead us through the next four years.  During the stakeholder engagement process, through interviews, surveys and focus groups, we gathered extensive input from families, employees and other key partners.  We landed on four new strategic directions, and updated our Vision and Mission to reflect what Niagara Children’s Centre stands for now…
