Who we employ

We employ qualified industry professionals that support our multidisciplinary approach to family-centred care, including physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech & language pathologists, communicative disorders assistants, social workers and recreational therapists. We also rely on a dedicated group of administrative and support personnel to keep the Centre running smoothly and a safe, welcoming environment for families.

Our commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion

Niagara Children’s Centre is committed to providing a barrier-free environment for all clients, employees, job applicants, visitors or individuals who enter our Centre or access our information. As an organization, we respect and uphold the requirements set forth under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, Customer Service Standard, and the Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulations. If you require an accommodation(s) during the recruitment process, please notify Human Resources.

We also take pride in being an equal opportunity employer that focuses on the differences an individual can bring to the Centre whether it is through race, colour, religion, place of origin, ethnic origin, immigrant and newcomer status, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, age, or ability. The Centre recognizes and values diversity, equity and inclusion in everything we do for employees, volunteers and clients.

Don’t think you meet every single requirement? Studies have shown that women and people of colour are less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet every single qualification in the job posting. We are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive environment so we strongly encourage you to apply even if you don't believe you meet every single qualification outlined.
