Parent Talk returns this week to help caregivers embrace the unexpected
February 19, 2023
Safety is rooted in predictability and familiarity.
When situations arise that re-route our focus, how can we shift our mindset and embrace whatever life throws our way? It's the topic of this month's Parent Talk, as a Niagara Children’s Centre Social Worker and a Peer Support Parent host an important discussion on how to cope with the unexpected.
The event, which takes place on Tuesday, Feb. 21 at 6:30 p.m., is being offered in a hybrid delivery format so parents who are unable to attend in person can join virtually via Zoom. If you are able to attend in person, you'll be able to sign-up for childcare, with a limited number of spots available on a first-come, first-served basis. To register, please contact Reception at least 24 hours in advance by phone at 905-688-3550 ext. 0 or by email at reception@niagarachildrenscentre.com.
The event is one of many being offered to parents/legal guardians of all past and current clients (18 & under) with a diagnosed or identified physical, developmental or communicative delay or disability.
