We Help Make it Easy – Fundraising Event Ideas
There are lots of great ways to hold fun events and support the Centre. Whether you are a child donating the proceeds from your lemonade stand, or a business donating the proceeds of a “dress-down” day at the office, your contribution helps transform the lives of people right here in our own community. From birthday parties to bake sales, golf tournaments to fashion shows, the possibilities for fantastic fundraising event are endless!
You can also plan a fun event based on something that interests you and invite your friends, family and neighbours to join you!
Some ideas for fundraising events include:
Donation in Lieu of Gifts
Throw a birthday, anniversary, graduation party or special event and ask
guests to make a donation to the Centre in lieu of gifts.
Have a Sale
Raise money by asking people for a donation in exchange for the items being sold. Examples include garage sales, bake sales, used book sales or craft sales.
Make it an Event
Organize an event like a car wash or tournament with family and friends. Have a prize for the winner. You can raise money by charging an entry fee per team or participant.
Dedicate Your Birthday
Dedicating your birthday to Niagara Children's Centre is a great way to
make a difference in your community while celebrating your life's
milestones. Ask your guests to make a donation to the Centre instead of a
gift.
